Our promise to you

It is our goal at Dallas West Dance Centre to provide ALL our dancers with the highest quality instruction and performance opportunities in a supportive, inclusive, encouraging environment, in which each and every student is treated with equal respect, acceptance, and appreciation.  Emphasis is placed not only on the attainment and improvement of dance skills, coordination, flexibility, health, carriage, body confidence, and strength, but also on respect for self and others, perseverance, dedication, self-expression, empowerment, creativity, and pure enjoyment, thereby providing each dancer with the opportunity for positive growth that will include and extend far beyond the realm of dance.

Owner/director

Meet Ms. Pam

"I am beyond thrilled and honored to bring together a new dance family, where dancers can feel welcome, accepted, and safe to immerse themselves in the amazing world of dance.  I cannot imagine my life without it and am so blessed and grateful to share my love, experience, knowledge, and passion for dance with our community."

Ms. Pam started her life-long dance journey in Arkansas at the age of 6, and continued to train extensively in all genres of dance. She competed in middle school, high school, and college, as captain of her teams, earning all 1st place solo awards, as well as winning choreography awards.  She began choreographing for performances and clinics as early as middle school, and began her dance teaching career during college. After teaching and training for over 30 years in AR, TX, TN, and CA, Ms. Pam opened her own studio in Northern CA.  Her studio flourished and grew into a highly respected, successful, and beloved dance home that won Studio of Excellence and Best Choreography awards in several regional competitions.  In 2021, she and her family made the extremely difficult, yet positive, decision to return to her native South, reluctantly leaving her dance family in capable and loving hands. Ms. Pam holds a double major in Elementary and Special Education; focused her graduate work on Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Childhood & Adolescence; is a certified facilitator for ACT, a parenting program by the American Psychological Association; and is a member of the National Dance Education Organization and the CA and TX Dance Education Associations. Many of Ms. Pam's students have gone on to become dance instructors and choreographers, as well as to hold the highest national competition honors, and to dance on college teams, NBA teams, NFL teams, and Broadway.  She brings with her over 40 years of experience working with children, teaching, coaching, and mentoring. Other than teaching dance, her greatest loves are her 3 sons, Ethan, Jake, and Marshall; 2 fur babies, Huck and Lulu; the beach, sunshine, studying psychology, and reading. (Although they all have great rhythm, sadly, no, none of her sons became dancers. Instead, they all 3 decided to spend their time playing rugby, football, basketball, snowboarding, dirtbiking, and jumping out of airplanes! LOL)

To Miss Pam

"I could never thank you enough for all that you have done for everyone at [the studio].  You are family to us!  I never would have expected that taking one ballet class for fun would turn into so much more.  Dance has taught me to never give up and to really see the positivity in all situations.  However, I don't think it was just dancing itself that taught me that, but also your positivity and reassurance.  I could not imagine my life without our dance family.  You have brought so many people together, and we are all so thankful for that.  I will never forget all the amazing times that we have all had together.  I will always have you and [staff] in my heart."

Kelsey Wildman

Ms. Kelsey has found success as both a performer and teacher in the fields of theater and dance. She trained classically in ballet for 15 years in combination with many different styles of dance, as well as acting, singing, writing, and directing. She has experienced many aspects of the performing arts over the last 20 years, from becoming a Radio City Rockette to teaching dance in Germany. Kelsey began studying as a dance teacher by apprenticeship in Atlanta, GA as a pre-professional. From ages 10-18, she took part in hundreds of hours of summer ballet intensive programs and was accepted into North Carolina School of the Arts Performing High School. After high school, Kelsey danced as a Radio City Rockette, then went on to complete her BFA in Dance from Point Park University, where she majored in Jazz with a minor in Theater. After college, she became a dancer with RWS Entertainment for Holland American Cruise Lines, where she taught ballroom and social dance to thousands of passengers of all ages, as well as led the cast of professional dancers in ballet, jazz, and yoga. Kelsey then went on to work as an instructor and choreographer at five institutions in Berlin, during which time she designed a curriculum that successfully rolled out to hundreds of German public school students during the Covid-19 lockdown. She also developed a Movement for Actors class for ages 13-19, as well as taught movement-based cognitive development for 2-6 year-olds, thus enhancing her ability to teach dancers of all ages.

Tara Stone

Ms. Tara started her dance journey following in the footsteps of her sister at the age of five. Her passion for dance started as she joined the pre-professional program at Shuffles and Ballet II in Little Rock, AR, at which time she studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, and hip hop until graduating high school. As her studio was the home of Ballet Arkansas, Tara participated in many community performances, outreach, festivals, and summer intensives with the company. Her dance journey continued at Northwestern State University, where Tara was a member of the NSU Dance Company. Company membership allowed her to perform and attend several American College Dance Association (ACDA) festivals. It was in college that she found her passion for teaching. Tara graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with Magna Cum Laude distinction. Her true calling started with her career as a dance instructor in LA, where she spent several years teaching ages 3-18 in various styles of dance. In both the recreational and competitive departments, Tara choreographed for student showcases and award-winning routines for regional dance competitions. Ms. Tara recently moved to Texas with her husband Jacob and their dog Hallie and has been continuing to grow her skills as both a dance instructor and gymnastics instructor for students of many ages. She is so excited to share her experience and passion for dance with Argyle and the Dallas area!
